He gets to disappear and be presumed dead, while Su-ha takes the fall. They argue that this case is a copycat one, where Min Joon-gook kills two birds with one stone (er, hand). He’s the clincher in this argument, since the Left-Hand Murder was the case that sent him to prison, and he testifies that he told the story to his prison cellmate Min Joon-gook. They’re forced to defend their stance without introducing any new evidence, but thankfully Hwang Dal-joong is already on the witness roll call.
